Dissertation: First Ladies as Political Women- This source was great because since it was written by a scholar it was reliable, but it also had a bias to it instead of just straight facts. The information was very helpful in understand the political role of the First lady.
First Ladies: An Impact-This Cite was very similar to what my project is, so it helped me a lot with information.
Dover Coloring Book: American First Ladies- This book gave me a common knowledge of the First ladies, and was a great starting point to begin my research.

George Bush Library: The First Lady and Her Role-This cite gave me a great understanding of the typical image of the first lady and what has been expected of her throughout the years.

Jackie's Tour of the White House This was a primary source I got the original image of the first lady. it is a good source because it is a primary source.

Smithsonian Institution: First Ladies Political Role and Public Image-This cite was great cause I know all of the information was very accurate because it came from a museum. The information was very helpful because the article was directed directly at the first lady's political role which I needed a lot of information for.
